Even though 2020 was a year that many people won’t care to remember, it was a special year for us. We jumped into our first year together as a family and filled it up with fun memories. We’re so grateful for our blended mix!

2020: The Year of Homeschooling

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Stuffing stockings for our local community, celebrating three of our kids’ birthdays, and taking our first family vacation — this holiday season was the most wonderful time to remember!

We asked the kids to tell us their own top ten favorite moments from 2020. What was the most interesting thing to us as parents was to hear what the kids talked about the most. Some of the moments they remembered surprised us — in a really good way.

TOP TEN MOMENTS OF 2020 FOR THE BLENDED MIX

Buddy. Yes, he is the favorite in this house, hands down.
The Wedding. Each child mentioned our marriage as being one of their top ten favorite moments from the year. How cool is that?! As parents of a blended family, we don’t take the privilege of having our kids’ love and support for granted.
Christmas. It was the biggest Christmas any of us have ever had, with added gifts from extended family members.
Our first family vacation (specifically the hot tub 😂)
